Losing my religion
Sin dudarlo, uno de los videoclips musicales que más me gustan, con el sentido del humor de fondo, la originalidad y, sobretodo, por las composiciones que se van superponiendo, a modo de estudio fotográfico o galería de cuadros, es "Losing my religion" de REM, del disco Out of time, de comienzos de los noventa.
A mi, que me gustan los temas religiosos "sobremanera" :D jaja (en realidad sí que me apasionan la historia, la evolución, la trasformación-adecuación y los miedos de las distintas religiones. Con ellas estoy familiarizado y siempre me han cautivado, desde que maduré, del agnosticismo hacia el ateismo, en mi "querido" colegio del Opus Dei, allá por los 90), me parece que hacer una entrada de este video podría justificarse solo por los aspectos visuales. Y, sin embargo, más allá hay una canción preciosa, que no deja a muchos indiferente, la primera vez que la escuchan, ni deja de sonar dentro de la cabeza de aquel que la ha escuchado una nueva vez. En este single se suman ambos aspectos. Y clarifican por qué, a partir de este disco, 1991, el grupo norteamericano REM comenzó a considerarse un grupo de "culto".
